How many labels do I need to print?

The number of labels you need to print effects the type of printer you'll need. For example, if you have high volume labeling needs, you'll need a solid, heavy-duty machine. If you only need to occasionally print labels, you have the option of using a lighter (lower cost)) machine.

Heavy use	Over 500 labels daily. The labeling machine has to be able to handle a 24-7 load.
Medium use	100-500 labels daily.
Light Use	100 or fewer labels daily.
Occasional Use	A few labels each week.

It is common to have circumstances in which a labeling machine is initially heavily used, but as the labeling backlog is reduced the quantity of labels printed decreases.
